Woke up at 7am in the morning for a flag day at Toa Payoh. I was kinda sleeping on my arm, so when i wore up it was aching like siao.....anyways, ate breakfast and mum dropped me off at Novena MRT so i would take the train to Toa Payoh. Reached there and saw Aloy wave to me, got into the queue for the bags to collect money.
15mins, 20mins, 25mins,...35mins...wdf the queue wasn't freaking moving man, then Matthew came, saw Keith as well. In the end i set out to do flag day with Reuben, Matthew, Jack and Wei Jun. Took the MRT to Dhoby Ghaut where we walked to outside Plaza Singapura to camp there. Wei Jun and Jack stood outside the MRT entrance, while me, Reuben and Matthew camped at some pathway 50 metres up. It was so freaking boring, so Reuben decided that he would try to "spice things up" lol. Heavy Metal music on, started dancing in the middle of the street, Right infront of the bustop and MRT.Damn you should have seen it, so freaking funny i swear i laughed my head off.
Me : "LOL"
Reuben : "*dancing....sticks hand out* "would you like to donate?"
stranger : *uber dao activated*
Reuben : "nevermind, Thank you!"
stranger : *walks away....*
Reuben : "Asshole"
HAHAHAHAHAHAS. super funny sia...
Well Matthew decided to move further up when Wei Sheng(sp?) joined us, so left me and Reuben at that place.
I pretty much farmed like hell, ksed Reuben like hell also...lol. Reuben had like around 10 coins in his bag i was around 20+ Then around 10:50am, some tall lanky angmoh dude was walking by and i went "scuse me sir? would you like to donate" like i always do, and he was like "pardon me?" then i said it again, then he fished up $50 bucks from his pocket.
For a moment there i was like *OMGWTFBBQWOOTSISTRUCKGOLDMINELOL* then he put it away...then he took up $2. Well, not too bad, then he took out another $5! yea $7 man! thats the best so far. Foreigners FTW. As usual every year i would meet at least one guy who would say that he wanted another sticker for his son, and this year it happened again but was sorta different
"excuse me sir? would you like to donate?
"Sure! sure ! of course! SJI right? i was an SJI boy before! oh hey can i have another sticker for my son? hes in SJIJ too!"
lols...oh well. I collected around half a kg of coins, so did the others, then we broke for lunch. You know how all the notes won't fit in? we went around using this kind of thin bag that had this small flap, notes were too light so they got stuck. I pulled out all my notes, 2 $2, 1 $5, then we decided to go to some money changer afterwards to change them all into 10¢ coins.
We went into Plaza Sing, then we went to KFC...couldn't decide what to buy so me and Reuben sneeked out to Mac's and bought burgers. Walked over to Paradiz cuz they wanted to play LAN...as usual >.>
Reuben and Me don't play dota, so we stoned there for the whole three hours. Reuben played later on for around one hour. It was really boring except if you go watch muthu play. ownage sia, he ended with around 20+ kills, Beyong GODLIKE so many times, Double killed like 3 times, Triple killed like once...wow pro sia.
I just walked out of the LAN shop without much of a goodbye at around 3:59pm, cuz i had tuition at United Square at 4:30pm. Made my way back to Dhoby Ghaut MRT, got lost inside, ended up walking like 400m extra cuz i went to one extreme when i was supposed to go to the other....
aaaaaa i really have some serious problem with these directional stuffs man, even got lost in Farrer Park MRT before..(in my earlier posts). oh well.
I decided to stop at Toa Payoh first, kinda scared cuz my bag wasn't really that filled with coins, but i passed it up anyways and they DIDN'T CHECK IT LOL. yay! smsed Reuben cuz he said he wanted to take out $5 from his own money to change into coins to make it heavier, so he didn't need to do so now.
Reached tuition. Did i mention that Nigel was in the same tuition at me? BTW i went into the tuition centre and Nigel's hair was like WTF! His Hair R NT CURLY ANYMORE! omgwtfbbq! now the skies will start falling next =O *crash!*
lols, hahas...damn funny day.
