started off by waking up at 8:30am in the morning..hey i've been waking at 12pm for the past 2 days okay..big jump in timing.
rushed through breakfast, mum said that we had to visit 4 houses today...sians..only thing to look forward too is the hongbao money. First off, to my mum's mum's house, aka my grandma's house. everything was okay, after 5 mins i digressed to playing with my handphone, only to have my tuition teacher calling me halfway through.
i thought "hmmm..okay, i wonder what he would be calling about.." received the call and OMGWTFBBQ my tuition teacher was already at my house. I FORGOT TO CANCEL HIS TUITION FOR CHINESE NEW YEAR!!! OMG OMG OMG...(hes indian so he doesn't celebrate cny)totally forgot about that...in the end i agreed to pay him $20 in taxi fees....aaaaargh...are the taxi fares that high these days?
okay, next to my mum's aunt's house. nothing much there.
then to my dad's bro's house. nothing much there.
went home, stoned for 2 hours, then went our to my mum's friend's sister's house.
aha..interesting part. my dad had trouble finding the place, his GPS convieniently crashed just as we were starting to get into the car...wtf GG. okay. not so bad, we still have the STREET DIRECTORY! finally managed to find out way there, loads of lefts and rights.
damn, his house BIIGGGG. okay not as big as mine(LOL) it was a terrace house divided into 3 portions, and my mum's friend's sister was living in the center portion. IT HAS 4 FREAKING STOREYS!!!! OMG!!! (okay mine has 4 storeys too lol >.>)
went in, we were greeted by a huge LCD TV..hmm not bad, then A SWIMMING POOL IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HOUSE oh my god! way cool.

seeeeeeeeee!
then we were given a tour of the house, heres the view from the 4th storey..

not bad actually...
okay, then we were treated to dinner. first started out with the big plates with loads of ingredients and we have to mix them all up with chopsticks that we always do every chinese new year...except this one was homemade. i couldn't help but realized that the my mum's friend's sister's husband's face was visible red, after which he explained that they have both been drinking wine before we came. LOL. well that added a little "spice" to all our conversations as they were like... hmm... 10% drunk.
during dinner, my sister spilled a whole glass of pepsi over my pants(WTF). after that, my parents were taking to the couple about their religion, and they were saying about how they were into fengshui and all that, and they were inviting 14 dalai lamas to their house to do some weird blessing ceremoney next saturday. they were obviously quite hyped up about it, and the conversation went on and on...then my mum asked:
"how long have you all been into this?"
"OH! ONLY ONE WEEK!"
LOL!!. thats pretty extreme. they said that they were introduced to this by a friend. tibetan buddhism...never heard of it before. there was also another couple to came to have dinner with us, and the guy and my mum's friend's sister's husband wad happily drinking with him. i wondder how he is gonna drive his way home drunk later, his face was very very red....hmm i'll look through the newspapers tomorrow..if you get what i mean.
they polished off a whole bottle of wine, and were going to move on to the next one.
"want another cup?"
"oh no i didn't bring my pyjamas along"
okay, at least he still has some common sense left in him. btw hes a pilot with SIA, flying off to Shanghai tomorrow.
well, talking about religion, my family has always been a christian one. we attend New Creation Church, and my parents have made been attend since i was 10months old (they have nursery care). Somehow, i really don't wanna be a christian now. every Sunday its a battle between me and my parents cuz they want me to go to church but i don't want to. i just don't see the damn point. i've been going for 15 years and i still don't see how god affects me in my life. my dad says its like the wind, you don't see it but you feel its presence. i don't feel ANYTHING.
okay. tomorrow comes another sunday... btw i heard the article is coming out in the sunday times tmr..so keep your eyes peeled lols.
ciao.
